Mandarin Town - HK’s first Mandarin children’s gym - was established in July 2010 by three mummies who wanted a place where their kids could learn Mandarin without academic stress and pressure.  Conveniently located in Coda Plaza on Garden Road in Central, Mandarin Town was founded with the core values of exposing, developing and nurturing an interest and passion to learn Mandarin in young children through structured play and exercise.   It offers a safe, happy, friendly, fun and relaxed gym where kids aged 6 months to 4 years and up can play and learn Mandarin with qualified native Mandarin teachers.

Classes are divide according to age groups:  Happy Babies, 6-12 months; Mini-Me, 1-2 years; Jumping Jacks, aged 2-3 years old; Little Minds, aged 3-4 years; and Star Troopers, aged 4 and above. (Note that children under the age of 3 have to be accompanied by an adult at all times in the gym).

Children listen, learn, interact and play with qualified native Mandarin teachers in a variety of structured and fun exercise routines and challenges conducted in Mandarin. Classes include story telling, singing, rhymes, group games, crafts, dances and learning about Chinese culture and kids gain confidence in using and expressing themselves fluently in Mandarin.

The curriculum has been researched and designed by qualified experts in children’s physical education and each course is designed to be age-appropriate, stimulating and safe using custom-made gym equipment.
